’20-’21 – Brewing a Bright Future

Grant Description:

Brewing a Bright Future will teach Life Skills and Resource students real world and employable skills by employing the use of an espresso machine and grinder at the current GHS coffee stand. The significant academic needs of these students targeted through this program are math skills, specific to collecting money and making change, interpersonal skills, such as public awareness, eye contact, and communication, and finally technical skills related to using an espresso machine and a grinder which will give these students immediate, employable job skills.
