Funding Excellence in Education

The Kalispell Education Foundation provides grant-based investment in programs and resources that encourage collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence. We aim to enrich the quality of education for students in Kalispell Public Schools with community involvement and investment. The Kalispell Education Foundation is dedicated to working with the Kalispell School District to fund current and emerging needs. We understand an investment in quality education strengthens our community and our world.

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
– Malcolm X

What is an education foundation?

Communities are often able to cover basic needs for schools through state and federal funding and local levies. However, when budgets get tight, important programs, projects and even positions are often on the chopping block. Foundations provide bridge funding, allow teachers and faculty to try new things and not be constricted or cut-off when budgets go away or simply can’t keep up.

The Kalispell Education Foundation enriches the offerings of our public schools by allowing the dreamers to dream, the planners to plan and the creators to create. A lack of funding should not be a barrier to a great idea.

The Kalispell Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt philanthropic organization of local citizens, independent of School District 5.
